Board Exam Preparation
CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2027: 30-Day Maths and Science Revision Plan
Plan 30 days of CBSE Class 10 Maths and Science revision with chapter practice, timed sample papers and a simple mistake tracker.
Table Of Contents
Days 1–7: Find Your Weak Chapters
Start this plan 30 days before your target exam or use it as a revision cycle. On day 1, attempt a short mixed set in each subject without notes. Sort chapters into three groups: confident, needs practice and needs a concept review.
- Days 2–6: Pick one weak topic per subject each day. Recall the method or concept from memory, solve three questions and write down what went wrong.
- Day 7: Reattempt the questions you missed without looking at your earlier solution.
Days 8–14: Practise Applying Concepts
For Maths, write the formula or theorem you are using before substituting values. For Science, explain why a result occurs and check units, labels or balanced equations as appropriate.
- Days 8–13: Each day, solve one application question in Maths and one case, diagram or numerical question in Science. Check your reasoning after finishing.
- Day 14: Mix questions from different chapters so you have to decide which method applies.
Days 15–21: Use Timed Sample Papers
Choose a Maths paper that matches your course, Standard or Basic. Follow the time and instructions printed on each paper. Keep the next session free to mark it and redo missed questions.
- Day 15: Attempt Maths. Days 16–17: Mark it, identify the biggest loss of marks and practise that skill.
- Day 18: Attempt Science. Days 19–20: Mark it and rewrite incomplete explanations, equations or labelled diagrams.
- Day 21: Reattempt the two questions that cost you the most marks in each subject.
Days 22–30: Fix Repeat Mistakes
Spend days 22–27 on errors that keep coming back. For every missed question, note the topic, the step where you went wrong and the date you will retry it. Mark it fixed after you can solve it independently.
- Example: Electricity numerical → used milliamperes as amperes → convert to amperes before substituting → retry tomorrow.
- Days 28–29: Recall formulas, reactions and diagram labels on blank paper, then check against your notes.
- Day 30: Review your mistake tracker and do a short confidence set from topics you have already practised.
